Team Lead - Van Wert

Van Wert, OH - Full Time

We are looking for a Positive, Energetic Team Lead who enjoys rewarding, mission-driven work where you help support individuals who have a developmental disability in an 8 bed group home setting while mentoring and coaching employees.  Experience leading a team and working with individuals who have a developmental disability required; we will provide all training. Wage:  $17.50 - $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED
  • Must not have a criminal record that includes felonies or misdemeanors against persons that are in conflict with the requirements of the position or agency policy
  • Valid driver's license
  • Less than 6 points on driving record
  • Active auto insurance
  • Every other weekend required
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift
  • Rotate on call
  • Assist with scheduling staff
  • Able to mentor and coach staff to maintain positive team atmosphere and ensure high quality care is given individuals at the home
  • Assists with planning, preparing and leading individual and group activities in house and in the community
  • Transport individuals served in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form
